SYNOPSIS

Lavinia, Carla and Danila have just graduated from their Lyceum and are now setting off on a vacation aboard a sailboat. They are alone with their smartphones and a skipper, on a voyage along the coasts of Croatia, a jaunt full of dreams, freedom and carefree fun. They are still blessedly unaware of how sharing everything on the Socials will transform their vacation into a brutal rite of passage into adulthood, one in which nothing, and least of all their friendship, will be like it was before.

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

A boat seemed like the ideal place for me to recount this story, because the physical limits of space and the isolation of traveling on the sea are naturally in opposition to the reality of a hyper-connected world which at this point is our constant companion.

This tension between of being in a place but also simultaneously elsewhere is for me the full awareness - without any nostalgic criticism - of a way of relating to others which has definitively changed and which I find to be important recognized, studies and comprehended in order to become a constructive part of a future still in the making.
